What a gorgeous weekend in Boston! A little hot, but pretty good!
Saturday, my Mom and I took a trip to Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset, MA to pick up produce.
Holly Hill is a certified organic farm selling lots of produce and plants!
They had a great variety of freshly picked greens, sugar snap peas, turnips, scallions, garlic scrapes, etc.
We picked up lots of sugar snap peas, baby turnips, scallions, tomato plants, oregano, etc.
The farm stand is self service, so you chose what you want, add it up and drop your money in the slot.
Holly Hill Farm is great! If you live or visit the South Shore, you should definitely check it out. The sugar snap peas were wonderful and super sweet!
Before the farm, I went for a walk/run because it was so gorgeous out. I ended up running 4 miles and walking 1.5 miles (total = 60 minutes). My running is definitely slower than it was this winter/spring, but I’m getting back up there. 🙂
Afterwards, I whipped up a huge smoothie for breakfast.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen cherries
- 1/2 packet chocolate Amazing Meal
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal (yum!)
And, after the farm, a Veggie Wrap and Sweet Potato Chips!
