Happy Thursday, folks!
So, I basically ate the same thing for both breakfast and lunch today, just in different forms. While I was packing my lunch last night, I just wasn’t feeling a salad again, and I had the rest of my leftover soup for dinner last night. I was left with yogurt – fancied up, of course.
I started my day with a smoothie. Are you surprised?! 🙂 I didn’t want to take the time to make oatmeal, but I wanted something filling. This did the trick and actually kept me full until I thought about lunch around noon-time!
It was a twist on your basic Cherry Chocolate Bomb!
- 1.5 frozen bananas
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 cup frozen spinach
- 2 tbsp hemp protein powder
- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp maca
- 1 scoop Chocolate Amazing Grass
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup water (or more if needed)
Topped with Not Sweet Vanilla Galaxy Granola, it was definitely filling – and tasty!
The recipe made about 3 cups – only 2.5 fit into this huge mug! So, I made sure to refill half way through.
Once I was hungry for lunch, I went to the fridge and realized that I had basically eaten the same thing for breakfast – oopps! At least I got some greens into that smoothie.
Lunch
Fage Greek Yogurt with a banana, Not Sweet Vanilla Galaxy Granola, chocolate crispies and raspberry jam.
So delicious, it was dessert-like with the raspberry jam!
A few hours later, I snacked on my new favorite snack: Medjool Dates stuffed with PB and Hazelnuts!
It’s almost Friday!

Oh gosh! Your treats with oats look so amazing! And chocolate amazing grass? I have to find me some of this grass – I keep seeing bloggers blend it and I want in on the action. I had never seen stuffed dates – let alone with amaaaazing peanut butter and nuts! K, so, this was the tastiest post I’ve seen in a long time. I want everything haha.
