spinach overload

What a gorgeous day!  I woke up early to get some stuff done before work, and loved the sun shining in while I worked. 🙂

I was starving, so I immediately put on the kettle for tea and toasted my last slice of Millet bread.  I sipped on some english breakfast tea with a splash of almond milk and munched on my toast which I spread a thin layer of peanut butter and blueberry jam on.

After I got ready for work, I was still starving.  So, I whipped up another delicious Cherry Chocolate Bomb from Kristen.  Love these!

I guess I used a little more spinach today, since my smoothie was a lot greener than yesterday.  The only substitution I made was to use 1 cup of strawberries since I was out of everything else.  I can’t wait to try this with the frozen cherries it calls for.  (Side note: I just ordered some glass straws since I am finally out of these plastic ones that will kill the environment!)

Then, it went downhill – my stomach was killing me.  Not sure was happened.  A spinach overload??  I hope not.

A few hours later, I finally felt some relief and even a little bit hungry, so I snacked on a Haute Diggity Date Granola Bar that I received from 18 Rabbits.

18 Rabbits uses all natural and organic foods in their granola and granola bars.  They produce 2 types of granola and use one of those as a base to each bar.  This bar contained their Gracious Granola with organic dates, golden sultanas and oats.

This bar was delicious!  It tasted like I was eating whole ingredients, which is not true of all granola bars.  They sent me one other bar to sample, but I will definitely be trying each of their flavors.

Lunch contained leftover salad with rice from last night, which were still delicious.

And a Blueberry Chobani with 1/2 granola, 1/2 Uncle Sam’s cereal.

My afternoon snack was a banana (I saved the orange for later).

And some cocoa almonds, which are great!

I’m planning to hit up the gym for an easy run and some weights on my way home.

See ya!
