As I mentioned in a previous post, Liz from Justin’s Nut Butter was nice enough to send me some samples to try out! I received some individual packs of the Honey Peanut Butter and a jar of the new (unreleased) Chocolate Peanut Butter. I tried the chocolate pb today on some whole grain toast and I was not disappointed! When I opened the jar, the peanut butter looks like pure chocolate. I immediately stole a lick from the jar – YUM! My bread was not toasting fast enough!
The peanut butter spread very smoothly, but I made sure to layer it on thick!
This peanut butter was seriously delicious. I also bought the chocolate peanut butter at whole foods this weekend, and the two do not even compare. I love that Justin’s is super chocolaty, but it still tastes like peanut butter. The whole foods grind-your-own is much more peanut buttery, with just a hint of chocolate. I still love it, but obviously prefer more chocolate:-). I can’t wait for this to come out in store in January! They are also going to be selling Chocolate Almond Butter and Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. I am excited for both!
